Daarin staat precies wat je moet doen om die Amerikaanse koplampen erin te houden.
Het advies aan mij was eerst om Europese erin te zetten. Dat zou gewoon passen.

Die sealed beams kun je verwisselen voor Europese lampen.
Is in mijn Benz ook gebeurt 2 jaar terug.

Ziet er nu zo uit.

Toe ik de auto kocht was deze net geïmporteerd en nog niet omgebouwd.
De sealed beams zijn vervangen door een rechthoekige H4 unit.
Daarnaast is er aan de bedrading het nodige omgelegd.
Bij Amerikaanse import wagens blijven de knipperlichten namelijk branden en dat was toen (2010) niet toegestaan.

Ik heb ergens gehoord dat die sealed beams tegenwoordig mogen blijven zitten, net als die brandende knippers.
Maar of dat klopt weet ik niet.

Ik ben aan het zoeken naar een set amerikaanse koplampen maar nou is mijn vraag, gaat dit wel passen?
ik kan een set originele kopen met sealed beams, maar zijn de aansluitingen van de lampen(fittingen) hetzelfde als bij mijn europese W126?
