Ik had eerst LEDjes geprobeerd, toen een combinatie van één LED en één normale voor de verlichting per unit.
Wat ik ook probeerde, telkens kreeg ik een melding dat er een lampje kapot was.

Eigenlijk vrij logisch want er wordt gemeten hoeveel stroom gevraagd wordt (denk ik?)
En ik heb twee lamphouders met elk één (dus twee) kabels op één pin.

In plaats van één 10 watt lampje per unit heb ik twee 5 watt lampjes geprobeerd per unit.
Voila, tot nu toe nog geen melding dat er een lampje kapot is.

Heb je zo'n handig hulpmiddel en dan stel je het buiten gebruik.

Bij het aansluiten van mijn derde remlicht heb ik ook overwogen om om te bouwen naar de Amerikaanse variant, maar dat is inderdaad ingrijpend (bekabeling aanpassen en een andere, Amerikaanse, lampencontolemodule zien te krijgen, uit Amerika, dus al gauw invoerrechten en hoge verzendkosten betalen).

Of, en dat is wel een ingrijpende oplossing, je hele verlichting ombouwen naar de US variant. Dan geeft je lampcontrole geen foutmelding meer. Moet je alleen je mistlamp apart aansluiten.

Als ik het goed zie in de EPC horen er T4W lampjes in, die hebben volgens mij een BA9S fitting.
Bij eBay zoeken naar of levert een massa keuzemogelijkheden.
Let bij je keuze niet alleen op prijs, maar ook op kleur, afmetingen en richting waarin de lampjes schijnen.
Het duurt wel een week of vier voor je ze hebt als je ze in China of zo koopt.
Wellicht heeft de plaatselijke autoonderdelenhandelaar iets naar je gading (zal daar wel een stuk duurder zijn).
