Wellicht is die van de W140 lang genoeg en kan ik ze dan op maat afzagen

Voor de sierstrips is er maar één nummer: 1168880185 (nieuw leverbaar voor ongeveer 40 euro per stuk), de verticale is een andere: 1268880385 (niet nieuw leverbaar).
De horizontale moeten bij montage aangepast (op maat afgezaagd) worden.

De horizontale staafjes worden daarna met clips 2019882578 vastgezet (in totaal 18 stuks), de verticale met 0039882078 (3 stuks).
Die worden dan in de ronde gaatjes gestoken, of bij die alternatieve versie waarschijnlijk ergens in die gleuf.
Mikken in de gleuf is natuurlijk wel eenvoudiger dan precies in zo'n gaatje.
"Nur für Reparaturzwecke" staat in de EPC nog bij de clips, oftewel alleen voor reparatiedoeleinden.
Blijkbaar kunnen de sierstaafjes bij reparatie niet (goed) over de nokjes geschoven worden?
De nieuwe versie die je hebt lijkt overeen te komen met de door URO gefabriceerde (niet originele) grilles, zie de middelste foto van https://www.ecstuning.com/b-uro-parts/r ... 00883~uro/

Nu iets meer dan een maand later heb ik eindelijk de grille binnen. En daarbij best een beetje teleurgesteld.

Zie hieronder het verschil tussen origineel en aftermarket

Waren er origineel twee soorten horizontale latjes of is het gewoon een hele slechte aftermarket?
Ik heb namelijk wel gezien dat alles voor de rest perfect overeenkomt.
Ik heb nog een oude W202 grille liggen en die heeft wel zo'n gleuf zoals de aftermarket
Helaas is de W202 grille niet net zo groot als de W126 dus de latjes zijn daarvan te kort.
Iemand die hier meer over weet?
