Omdat remvloeistof (condens)vocht opneemt.

Bij lang en hard remmen kan dit vocht gaan koken in de remklauwen en dan remt je wagen helemaal niet meer. :oops:
Ook kan het vocht roest vormen in de remklauw en op de zuigers.
Gevolg; remblokken die na het remmen tegen de remschijf blijven slepen en de zaak zo heet maken, dat afdichtingen van de remklauw verbranden. Revisie is dan een must.
