Dan rijdt ik 130 KM/U met enkele stukjes 150. Gooi er altijd V-power in van Shell en zoveel mogelijk de Duitse Shell met 100-octaan. Dus dat scheelt ook in verbruik...aankoop ligt wel wat hoger. Lang File rijden of stad is een ander verhaal....1x7 is dan standaard.

Het ligt er maar aan wat je onder hoogwaardiger verstaat.
Het kan betekenen meer energie, schonere uitlaatgassen, schoner brandstofsysteem, hoger octaangehalte (dan nodig?).

Het een is niet hetzelfde als het ander.

Een paar jaar terug had ik hardnekkige brandstoflekkage. Koppel ringetjes waren niet goed, brandstofpomp lekte en schroefdraad bleek ook niet meer goed. ( destijds per onderwerp elke keer terug, gelukkig uiteindelijk de Hobbyhut in Zutphen ontdekt en per direct verholpen met de fijne hulp van Hans en Danker )
Mijn verbruik is op lange stukken ( meestal met gezin en bagage ) 1L x 9,5km. Zonder bijkomende korte ritjes en licht beladen heb ik ook 1 x 11 gehaald. Een langer ritje is vaak naar Duitsland waar ik mijn schatje vertroetel met V-power 100 octaan. In Nederland is dat de gewone V-power. Mijn ervaring is dat het hogere octaangehalte iets duurder is. Aan de andere kant haal ik zeker één Km extra eruit per liter. Kosten blijven dus ongeveer gelijk en op de lange duur is het volgens mij ook beter om hoogwaardigere brandstof in een oude motor te verbranden.

Wat betreft de diesel : daar zit wel degelijk verschil in. Praktijk voorbeeld als automonteur : sprinter v6 diesel met elektronische turbo, telkens vermogen probleem, noodloop door turbo regeling. Na shell v power tanken ipv tango NOoit problemen meer gehad! Dat bewijst wel wat!
