En 80 of 85 of 90 W olie maakt nu ook weer niet zo veel uit hoor. Belangrijk is alleen dat er Hypoid olie (EP) gebruikt wordt in de normale differentielen. In de LS Differentielen zit ook hypoid vertanding dus zal ook de LS olie wel EP/hypoid zwavelcomponenten bevatten.

In een LS differentieel zitten een soort koppelingsplaten die aangedrukt worden bij hoog moment (gasgeven). De LS olie zal er voor zorgen dat er nog genoeg frictie kan ontstaan. Vaak is zo een differentieel toch ook al versleten waardoor de frictie (en dus het sperren) minder is. Met normale olie zal er nog minder frictie zijn. verder zal het denk ik geen kwaad kunnen.

Ik had destijds idd die LS olie van Kroon gekocht. heb misschien zelfs nog een blik staan van 1 liter.
