@ Hans. Als de eerste(!) voorschakelweerstand kapot is krijg je wel een vonk zo lang dat de startmotor stroom krijgt. Hij vonkt dan tijdens het starten maar niet meer als je de sleutel los laat.

Hallo Jokke,

Als de auto wel gewoon start maar meteen weer stopt wanneer je de sleutel loslaat is het uit mijn ervaring de voorweerstand. Het is dat de 1e weerstand van 0,4 Ohm. zie bijgevoegde plaatjes. Makkelijk en goedkoop te controleren, meet gewoon de weerstand over de 2 aansluitingen van de weerstand (evt met de kabels eraf geschroefd). Deze mag niet oneindig zijn maar moet rond de 0,4 Ohm liggen. Tijdens het starten wordt deze overbrugd om de spanningsval te compenseren. hierdoor start de auto wel maar stopt de ontsteking weer wanneer de weerstand weer voor de ontsteking wordt bijgeschakeld.

Je kunt de eerste weerstand ook tijdelijk helemaal overbruggen met een kabeltje met krokodillebekjes of iets dergelijks. Als hij dan blijft lopen weet je genoed, de bobine kan dit wel even hebben.
