Die kan alleen losgeschroefd worden als met een pin het palletje bij de oranje pijl in de eerste foto wordt ingedrukt.
Na losdraaien van de kap kan die samen met de cylinder verwijderd worden.

Later is het slot gewijzigd, de cylinder heeft een ander palletje gekregen.

Bovendien heeft het stuurslot geen schroefdraad meer.
In plaats daarvan zijn er twee extra palletjes (eentje boen en eentje onder).
Als die beide ingedrukt worden, kan de zwarte kap, samen met de cylinder, van het stuurslot getrokken worden (niet draaien).
Voor dit type slot zijn dus twee pinnen nodig (of 1pin in een U-vorm gebogen).

In alle gevallen dienen de punt(en) van de pin(nen) scheef en scherp geslepen of gevijld te worden.
