Mercedes heeft het zo gemaakt dat je met een open bestuurdersdeur ramen en stoelen kan bedienen. Ook al staat de auto niet op contact
Als het goed is werkt je stoelverstelling maar deels als je de deur dichtdoet en de auto start (of op contact zet) Dat is een veiligheid zodat je jezelf niet plet op het stuur tijdens het rijden :D

Deze beveiliging werkt bij veel Mercedessen al niet meer door o.a. kabelbreuk, maar origineel hoort het zo te zijn
Daarom ook dat het relais dat alles aanstuurt warm blijft zolang je een deur open hebt (ongeacht de contactstand
