deurvergrendeling]]>Op advies van Douwe en GuusT zekering 13 en 15 vervangen (op het oog waren de zekeringen goed en contacten schoon). Probleem opgelost! Blijkbaar 2 verschillende circuits voor aansturing. Hoop dat dit een aanvulling is voor volgende lezers.

Dit omdat bij een lek de vacuümpomp in de kofferbak blijft lopen.
Kwam in de laatste 500SE ook weer hetzelfde probleem tegen. CV werkte, maar niet op de passagiersdeur. Leidingen blootgelegd en ja hoor, een of andere nitwit had de vacuümslang met een schroefje dichtgedraaid. Schroefje eruit, slang op zijn plek en je kon inderdaad horen dat de pomp bleef lopen.
Vacuumpotje bij het slot vervangen en de CV werkt weer als vanouds.
Dit illustreert een van de grootste problemen bij de W126. De techniek is vrij degelijk, maar na een jaar of 6-7 verdwijnen de auto's uit het reguliere onderhoudscircuit. De komende 10 jaar krijgen ze vaak nog wel wat redelijk onderhoud, maar dan kan het snel bergaf gaan. Als je dan een W126 koopt, ben je vaak eerst bezig om de afgelopen 10 jaar aan gebrekkig (lees: geen) onderhoud weg te werken.
In het geval van de 500SE viel het nog mee, het 'gat' tussen het onderhoudsboekje en de aanschafperiode was maar 3 jaar en zo'n 25000 km. Dit was toch nog genoeg om o.a. het stuurhuis, de kleppendekselpakkingen, de automaat, de CV, het schuifdak en de verlichting te slopen.
