ik kom nog even terug op de koelvloeistofdiscussie.
Hoe is het intussen met jouw koelvloeistof G12+?

Ik heb inmiddels uitgevonden:
In onze Benzen hoort origineel Mercedes norm 325.0 antivries, dit was silicaathoudend om een silicaat beschermaagje op aluminium te vormen (G48 van BASF en van VW was het G11).

Omdat dit silicaatlaagje niet zo lang bleef zitten moest de vloeistof elke 2 jaar ververst worden.

Toen hebben ze nieuwe silicaatvrije vloeistof uitgevonden die een veel vaster beschermlaagje op aluminium vormde, dit was op basis van organische verbindingen, dit was G12. Nu kwamen de problemen, deze G12 mocht NIET gemengd worden met G11/G48 omdat dan agressieve zuren gevormd werden. :ohmy:

Daarna hebben ze G12+ ontwikkeld, ook silicaatvrij maar wel mengbaar met G11/G48/G12.
De G12++ is daar weer een doorontwikkeling op met nog hogere beschermende eigenschappen en ook mengbaar.
G13 op glycerinebasis voor milieu en goedkoper.

Zover ik het begrepen heb kun je dus buiten G12 (met G11/G48) alles met elkaar mengen.

Voldoet aan de eisen van:o.a..... Mercedes-Benz 325.3
Dat gaf voor mij de doorslag om dit in mijn koelsysteem te doen en het zit er nou 1 jaar in.
En ongeveer 9000 km mee gereden.
