Ik ben Mark Jonkers en kom uit Geffen (klein plaatsje bij Oss). Al jaren Mercedes liefhebber en deze liefde is begonnen zoals bij vele van jullie omdat mijn vader een Mercedes (W115 en W123) reed toen ik klein was. Nadien is de liefde ook naar andere modellen met de ster uitgebreid en is het een beetje uit de hand gelopen. Gelukkig blijft het vooralsnog beperkt tot naoorloogse modellen en dan tot en met de W124 en de W201.
Momenteel in het bezit van een W126 380SE in een aparte ( als mensen dit zeggen vinden ze hem niet mooi ) bruine kleur. Ik heb deze auto vorig jaar van een gruwelijk foute verkoper in Hamburg gekocht, maar tot nu toe bevalt hij en lijkt hij prima. Hij rijdt zelfs zo fijn dat ik er liever in rijd dan in mijn S350 van 2003 en daar begrijpen mensen zonder onze afwijking helemaal niets van, maar ja dat is dan maar zo.
