Hey hallo,

Eind jaren '80 was ik helemaal lijp van de W108, die toen nog voor klein geld in de kranten stonden. Ik had er alleen echt het geld niet voor dus is dat nooit wat geworden. Na goed 25 jaar heb ik eindelijk een S klasse gekocht, een 300SE uit '86.
Koste me 225 euro, de wagen had een jaar stil gestaan met een defecte waterpomp. Pomp vervangen en cruisen.Een paar maanden geleden naar een sleutelaar gebracht en gevraagd of hij wat aan het brandstof verbruik kon doen (1 op 5). De man belt, ik ga langs, ligt daar heel de motor uit elkaar. Dit niet goed, dat kapot, hier te veel weg daar te sleets. Komt erop neer dat hij het hele blok heeft overhaald. Motor is weer fit voor de volgende 30 jaar zou je zeggen maar ik ben bang dat de carroserie dat niet gaat redden. Zolang het gaat blijf ik cruisen en genieten.
