Nadat ik eerder een W126 280SE gehad heb heb ik een tijdje in een oude MINI rondgeracet. Ook leuk, maar totaal wat anders. Deze moest plaats maken voor een Aprilia voor het vervoer op twee wielen. Daarna een tijdje geen eigen auto meer gehad i.v.m. een auto van de zaak. Omdat het toch weer wat begon te kriebelen ben ik sinds afgelopen najaar weer wat gaan zoeken. Uiteindelijk een mooie 380SE W126 gevonden met mooie Pullman-bekleding (must!). Er is nog wat technisch te doen aan de auto (heeft lang stil gestaan/weinig gereden) maar heb twee lijstjes gemaakt voor de lange en korte termijn. Het belangrijkste is dat ik weer een W126 in mijn bezit heb, en deze keer met twee cilinders meer.
