je hebt inderdaad gelijk, deze netjes ga ik ook zeker aanpakken. Maar dat is het leuke van oldtimers toch, je gaat langzaamaan verbeteren en opknappen en verzorgen. Ik had de dealer gesproken die de wagen in onderhoud had en die kon mij vertellen dat waterpomp en gelijk distributieketting/geleiders is vervangen ongeveer 40000km geleden, dat is wel een geruststellend idee. Alleen kon hij mij niets meer vertellen over de olierail boven de nokkenas. Helaas moeten we weer wachten tot 1 maart om er weer mee te kunnen rijden.

MIjn naam is Daniel en kom uit Purmerend, ben 37 en vermogensbeheerder.
Ben al van kleins af aan met Mercedes bezig en aan het hobbyen met oldtimers.
vanaf mijn 18de jaar heb ik een 450SE uit 1977 gehad welke ik 6 jaar heb bereden als hobby.
Daarna heb ik 13 jaar geleden een Europese 500SL uit 1980 gekocht welke ik nog steeds in bezit heb en in fantastisch mooie staat is. Na mijn 450SE heb ik een W124 e220 Cabriolet 1995 gekocht en helemaal opgeknapt. Naast mijn E220 cabriolet kocht ik een W123 230TE 1984 gekocht welke ik nog steeds in bezit heb en goed verzorg ook al staat hij continu buiten helaas. Dus af en toe ontkom je niet aan een laswerkje, wat ik zelf uitvoer.
Sinds afgelopen weekend heb ik een super mooie 560SEL 1987 gekocht, welke erg goed is onderhouden en keihard op wat beginnend roest onder achterraam na, welke ik nu aan het behandelen ben. Tevens moet ik eens op zoek naar goede achterbumper, er zit een uitsparing in, terwijl er geen trekhaak op zit en de chromen lijst zitten wat roestpikkels op.

Ik zit eigenlijk al jaren op deze site omdat ik de techniek en de W126 altijd een mooie auto heb gevonden.
