Ik kijk niet altijd na wat er gepost wordt, vandaar mijn (bijzonder) late reactie. Maar beter laat dan nooit. Hierbij dan een fotootje van de 380SEC. Inderdaad, een wondermooie, tijdloze coupé. Volgens mij de mooiste die ooit gemaakt is... Na een jaar en ettelijke 1000-den kilometers kan ik zeggen dat het een unieke ervaring is om te cruisen met deze auto. Op autosnelweg heeft ie een verbruik (benzine) van 11/100 km of 1 op 9. In de stad en bij korte ritten kan je hem beter laten staan : 17/100 of 1/6. Maar rijden doet ie wel altijd even lekker.

Mooië introductie. En 1 op 10 met de 260SE moet inderdaad haalbaar zijn. Als ik het goed heb is de 260SE de zuinigste uit de hele W126-serie, met 5-bak nog een fractie minder verbruik (afhankelijk van wie er in die bak zit te roeren uiteraard B) ).

Wat betreft de SEC, weinig auto's die ik ken met zo'n dubbele reputatie. Nu het een youngtimer is kunnen we het ding hopelijk waarderen voor wat het is: een supermooië coupé(!).

Veel plezier ermee 8-)
