Vroeger zag je veel 4 deurs met SEC grilles. Ook op de W123. Ik weet nog dat mijn vader bijna een 230CE had gekocht met zo'n grille erin.

Op de W126 is de voorkant onderhuids ook anders, dus het is nog best een ombouw om het goed te doen. Ik heb ooit gesproken met een man die het andersom gedaan had omdat hij de coupe neus niet mooi vond. Hij noemt zijn auto 'Cousine' (coupe-limousine, en frans voor nichtje :-)
Is best wat werk om het goed te doen. Ik denk dat de auto van je vriend misschien bij de dealer is omgebouwd of later door een tuner.

Wel echt van die tijd :-)

De dorpel is ook niet origineel.

Het blijkt toch origineel te zijn maar weten het fijne hiervan niet.
Ze moeten in 1981 geproduceerd zijn, maar hoeveel er van rondrijden weten we niet.
Moet wel in 81 in een Duits autoblad hebben gestaan.
Dus wie weet hier meer van ?
