Mercedes Benz geeft de motoren die niet zijn uitgerust met een kat af fabriek niet vrij voor gebruik van E10.
De bijmenging ethanol in Nederland is op dit moment 4.99% en geen 8% zoals het artikel vermeld.
Men verwacht dat Nederland vanaf 2019 over gaat op E10.

Afgelopen zomer heb ik contact gehad met SHELL om na te vragen of de V-power Ethanol heeft.
V-Power heeft geen Ethanol. Andere 98 aanbieders wel....
Zowel voor mijn W126 als voor motorfiets XT500 tank ik mijn gehele leven al de Premium benzine van Shell.
Op mijn XT500 zit nog het stickertje dat adviseert alleen " Super / Premium " brandstof te tanken.

Zelfde geldt voor de Airco.....daar heb ik ook een adresje voor ( al paar jaar geleden gepost )

Nu is het al meer dan 8% :!:
Daarom vraag ik me af of dat nog wel goed gaat.

De premium brandstoffen zoals v power BP ultimate ed hebben een hoger octaangehalte en zijn nog ethanolvrij.

Ik weet dat in de 95 ook ethanol zit tegenwoordig.Maar is dit kwalijk en heb ik dan eventueel die ethanol killer nodig.?
