Kettingspanner afstellen.... kan dat mag dat ..??

Ga vanavond mijn kettingspanner geleider vervangen (m117) en vraag mij af of je deze zou moeten afstellen. Nu is mijn vraag, kan dat mag dat of simpel weg afblijven en gewoon terugplaatsen....??!?
