Beste forumleden,

Mijn naam is Romke ben 53, kom uit Hillegom en heb 2 jaar geleden een 500SEL uit 1985 op de kop getikt om mee te doen aan de garbagerun.
Deze Benz had 3 jaar op een oprijlaan stil gestaan en maar 80.000 op de teller.
Na de garbagerun toch besloten deze te houden en ben hem nu aan het opknappen. Vorig jaar de airco laten reviseren, deuk eruit gehaald. Nog genoeg werk. Mijn kids noemen hem de oude nieuwe auto.

Welkom Romke, mooi verhaal van je 500SEL. Is km stand aantoonbaar? 80k km in 35 jaar is wel bijzonder. Paar fotootjes hier wordt enorm gewaardeerd.

De auto werd weinig gebruikt. Volgens de NAP klopt het.
Staat inmiddels 90k op de teller ;-)

NAP zegt weinig over de echte stand, zeker bij import.
Een W126 met een echte lage KM-stand over een periode van 35 jaar zou in nieuwstaat zijn. Zou dus niet al te vast vertrouwen op de stand zonder verdere documentatie.
