Bij een aantal merken als Mercedes was de kwaliteit inderdaad super denk ik.

Kijk maar eens op een site als AutoScout24.

Er staan daar 3.508 auto's van 1985 en ouder te koop en daarvan zijn er 787 Mercedes.
Dat is dus 22,5% :mrgreen:
Terwijl het aantal Benzen op de weg in die periode maar een paar procent geweest zal zijn.

Voor de rest zullen veruit de meeste auto's uit die tijd ook op de sloop liggen.
Er staan bijvoorbeeld maar zo'n 100 VW Kevers te koop terwijl er daar meer dan 20 MILJOEN van gemaakt zijn. En lelijke eendjes en DS-en zijn tegenwoordig al helemaal schaars.

Een auto die de 25 jaar heeft gehaald is een uitzondering denk ik.
En in de toekomst zullen nog minder auto's die grens halen omdat ze er gewoon niet voor gebouwd zijn. Een auto kopen was vroeger nog een hele belevenis.

Zuinig blijven op onze W126 dus... :lol:

Weet iemand hoe het zit met import auto's en de oldtimer regeling...
Ik meen iets gehoord te hebben van: (Duitse?)import is straks niet meer MRB-vrij?
Kan er verder weinig over vinden op de RDW en Belastingdienst sites.

De regeling is pas aangepast en daar wordt met geen woord over gerept.
Als het al de bedoeling zou zijn geweest, hadden ze die aanpassing er vast wel meteen bij gemaakt.
Misschien is het gerucht / misverstand ontstaan vanwege de zinsnede "voor het eerst in gebruik zijn genomen", dat er "in Nederland" bij gedacht is?

Bijna vergeten trouwens:

Ik heb een 260SE (3.6 :P) die in Nederland in februari 1987 is geregistreerd. Die zou dus onder de vorige regeling nooit meer belastingvrij worden en volgens de huidige regeling pas in 2013.

Omdat ik midden vorig jaar al vrijstelling had aangevraagd omdat de bouwdatum aantoonbaar 22 september 1986 was, kreeg ik onder de oude regeling het bericht dat de auto van 22 september 2011 tot 1 januari 2012 belastingvrij zou zijn, en dat daarna er weer belasting voor betaald moest worden.

Door de invoering van de huidige regeling is de auto, omdat hij dus al belastingvrij was, blijvend belastingvrij. Ik hoef dus niet te wachten tot 2013. Toch leuk :)

Voor degenen die géén bouwjaarverklaring hebben overlegd en dus geen vrijstelling hebben aangevraagd per 2011 geldt de overgangsregeling blijkbaar niet, en die auto's moeten dus wachten tot 2013.

ok das weer jammer voor mij dus :( maar ja is niet anders bel. vrij wordt ie wel :D overegens die van mij is op kenteken van de 7-1987 is ie dan in 2013 op de 7 maand bel. vrij of met de nieuwe regeling vanaf januari 2013??

:roll: er stond volgens mij ergens bij de bel dienst geloof ik iets over als de auto in dat jaar de auto 26 jaar wordt belasting vrij zal worden maar niet meer met betreft maand aanduiding van het voertuig :idea:

wie weet er meeer over :idea: :idea: :idea:

De mijne is van de 12e maand en is exact op de datum vrijgesteld.

Ik heb woensdag even gevraagd bij de Doaune.
Voor zover bekend:
Toeslag van auto's na 1 januari 1987 blijft gewoon van kracht.
Dus ook na dat de auto oldtimer is.En ook nadat deze dus 30 jaar is.
Diesel blijft men dus gewoon belasting betalen.
En de maand telt dus gewoon.
Dus een auto van B.V.16-5-1987 is oldtimer op 16-5-2013.
Dat is wat men mij verteld heeft.
Maar het blijft mij nog steeds erg onduidelijk.
Het enige voordeel is er dus wanneer men op benzine blijft rijden.

Als de import een drama gaat worden hebben we ook een probleem denk ik .

De meeste goede oldtimers komen van over de grens .

En zag vandaag een oltimer van een collega die kwam uit polen gewoon een nieuwe van gemaakt in polen .

Dat soort praktijken zorgt er voor dat er gemeut komt in DenHaag en eerlijk ik snap dat ook wel een beetje
