Dat nummer is van het achterdeksel van het differentieel van een 280 of 300 diesel.

Als de overbrengingsverhouding 3,46 is, dan is die van een 280, is de overbrengingsverhouding 3,07 of 2,88, dan is die van een 300 diesel.
De overbrengingsverhouding zou ergens op het differentieel ingeslagen kunnen zijn.
