Die 'Cash for Clunkers' actie heeft een hoop goede auto's het leven gekost :evil:

Bedacht om mensen hun onzuinige auto te laten inruilen voor een zuinige (lees saaie) nieuwe auto. Vereiste was wel dat de ingeleverde auto de weg niet meer op mocht en vernietigd moest worden. Die 560SEL is daar een goed voorbeeld van. Een auto in prima staat en dus eigenlijk gewoon zonde.

Naast deze Merc zijn er ook auto's als een Bentley, een Maserati en dergelijke op deze manier geëindigd. R.I.P.

En het grappigst van C4C was dat het de Amerikaanse automobiel productie moest bevorderen. Men kocht alleen massaal Japans en Koreaans... jammer de bammer.
